Founded in 1942, Huilerie GID is a specialist in the trading, blending, and reconditioning of vegetable oils for the RHF sector and the agri-food industries.

The historical success of the group relies on its agility and ability to provide customers with the best value for money, historic brands in the RHF sector (including Cuisinor), and a high level of service, notably due to its proximity to suppliers. With its production site in Libourne, GID is able to offer a complete range to its customers: from cooking and frying oils to seasoning (gastronomic oils and condiments).

During the reflection and research phase, we had very good exchanges with FrenchFood Capital, both regarding the potential of our target market and the strategy to be pursued in the coming years. Financially, the team at FrenchFood Capital also helped us find a good balance between stakeholders. Our operation materialized in December 2022, and since then, we have had regular and constructive exchanges.
We are convinced that the expertise of the FrenchFood Capital teams in the agri-food sector, particularly in out-of-home dining, will enable us to accelerate our development.
