FrenchFood Capital I

Founded in 1986 by Patrice Chapon and a pioneer of “bean to bar,” Chapon is a recognized brand in the world of high-end artisanal chocolate.

Patrice Chapon creates his creations in his Chocolate Factory, mastering all stages of production from sourcing to conching, including roasting, cracking, and grinding, all while respecting the specific characteristics of the different beans used.

At Chapon, the chocolate bars are crafted from single-origin cocoa beans without any additives or flavorings. This mastery of cocoa beans gives Chapon bars a unique intensity and multi-origin flavor palette. To bring the intense taste of chocolate to every family indulgence, Chapon has developed an innovative mousse bar.

Today, with a rare expertise honed by its founder for over 35 years, Chapon, which belongs to the exclusive circle of “chocolate makers,” aims to make its products accessible to a wider audience by opening new outlets in major cities across France.

I chose the FrenchFood Capital fund because they share the same values as the original spirit of CHAPON: beauty, quality, and delight. Passionate about taste and gastronomy, they seek to highlight reliable products as well as gems that tell a true story.
