Our integration of the CSR

We think

sustainable food is an integral part of consumers’ new expectation and attention.

We believe

in including Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) in global value creation measurements.

CSR is a guarantee of business performance and long-term durability, both in terms of risk control and value creation. It increases the value for the customer and the long-term value of the business. It is an essential building block in our investment strategy and in our support. We include CSR in our Due Diligence and our performance monitoring, based on a frame of reference built around the 6 following pillars :

Given the urgency of the issues, the role of specialist funds like FrenchFood Capital is to be a stakeholder in models’ transition towards more sustainable foods. Creation of sustainable value will underpin the long-term growth of our investments. Added to environmental issues around production and reducing waste, are :

– a social challenge for sector’s employment foot print

– a double economic challenge of sharing value throughout the chain and optimising production capacity

– a societal challenge implied by the impact of food on health, which consumers are increasingly aware of.

It is clear that business growth and sustainable development are closely intertwined. Consumers have understood this too and are increasingly wary on these topics
